If you have chance to visit around there, please check them and feel Japanese history.

Himeji-Jyo castle (Hyogo)

This castle with white beautiful walls, Himeji-Jyo was built in 1613, and for its architectural worth, it was registered as a UNESCO world cultural heritage in 1993. The most interesting points is its beautifulness. Since its white visual looks like white egret, this Himeji-Jyo has been called as “White egret castle”. Season we recommend to visit is absolutely spring. You can enjoy the contrast of spectacular visual and cherry blossoms!

Matsumoto-Jyo castle (Nagano)

Basically, castles in Japan is surrounded by the moat to prevent enemies, but this Matusmoto -Jyo’s scenery is especially notable. As you see the contrast of the majestic castle and the rich water, this castle has been loved for that beautiful scenery. By the way, do you know the reason why the castle painted in black and white? Actually, these are colors of stucco. Black stucco is strong against fire but weak against water,(so the wall under the roof painted in black!) and the white stucco, is the opposite. Not only the stucco, there are many ingenuities, please check them out when you visit here!

Kumamoto-Jyo castle (Kumamoto)

This Kumamoto-jyo castle is one of the most famous castle in Kyushu(in east part of Japan) area. Of corse we would like you to enjoy that majestic exterior, but if you have chance to visit there, please do not forget to check inside of castle.

Look this gorgeous interior. This is the picture of Shokun-no-ma room, which built only for Shogun (Emperor!). Actually the original room was burnt because of Satsuma rebellion in 1877, but it was faithfully reproduced in 2003. Please visit here, and taste Japanese history.
