Kyoto is undoubtedly one of the most popular prefectures for sightseeing among people from abroad. There are many attractions in Kyoto, and Ramen noodle is one of them. This time, we introduce 3 Ramen places you have to visit in Kyoto, please check them and get ready for Kyoto trip!
Menbaka Ichidai Ramen
You might have seen this surprising picture. This Menbaka Ichidai’s green onions Ramen is getting famous among people from abroad for its entertainment experience. Once a clerk put ramens on the table, they pour hot green onion oil on it, and make huge fire in front of the customers(and actually its taste is good too!). This Menbaka Ichidai Ramen is really rare place that you can enjoy Ramen with fire entertainment, please visit and try!
Tenka Ippin Ramen
Tenka Ippin Ramen is one of the most famous and popular chain ramen restaurants, and their first restaurant in Japan is in Kyoto. The most strong feature of that ramen is its thickness of the soup. That light brown soup which comes from chicken, is really mild and thick, in our opinion, you can not find any other ramen like that in Japan. Actually you can select from several options, super thick chicken based soup to light soy sauce based soup, but if you can, please select thick one and try, it is our best recommendation!
(No NAME) Kiyamachi Sanjo Ramen
This ramen place, their ramen is actually amazingly delicious. However, no one knows its name, because, they do not have their name! Maybe you can not believe it, but it is real and there is no sign or name plate outside of the restaurant.
Therefor, it is a bit hard to find the place, but here we put google map, so please check it. The soup created by fish and pork, is strong but kind of smooth, and taste is unforgettable. If you visit Sanjo or Shijo area, please do not forget to try the secret ramen!
Did you find your favorite? Ramen is one of the most popular dish in Japan. If you have chance to Kyoto, please visit once and taste the real one! You will not regret!
